Purpose of the Position

Organisational Unit Function

  • Leadership & Team Management: Direct and inspire a team of learning designers, trainers and content developers, ensuring collaborative synergy and top-notch output.
  • Academic Excellence: Guard and uplift the academic quality of our offerings, ensuring they stand out as paragons of educational achievement.
  • Program Delivery & Planning: Ensure timely and impeccable delivery of our educational programs. Take the helm in crafting forward-thinking quarterly plans for the department, anticipating needs, and setting goals.
  • Innovation & Strategy: Lead the charge in pioneering strategies and techniques within digital education, blended learning, and instructional design. Always look for ways to improve and innovate our learning ecosystem.
  • Client Success: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the success and satisfaction of school clients using our Digital Class product. Provide ongoing support and engagement to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and lead initiatives to secure contracts and partnerships with schools for the Digital Class product.
  • Client Reporting: Analyze and report on school engagement, feedback, and performance metrics within the digital learning environment, providing insights for continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Essential

  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams in education or related fields
  • Master’s degree in Education or related fields
  • Proven leadership in managing diverse educational teams.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management.
  • Commitment to maintaining and elevating academic quality.
  • Experience with digital education trends, blended learning, and instructional design.
  • Collaborative mindset with a penchant for innovation.
  • Significant and deep understanding of the central and state curriculums and syllabi.
  • Significant understanding of digital teaching and learning technology, pedagogy, design, and user experience
  • Knowledge and use of learning management systems, digital education tools, and ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as required
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate and present solutions
