Lydia Jingru

Intern, Operations

Lydia’s role as an Operations Intern is to help manage operational tasks under the direction of managers and founders. She helps assigned teams meet and exceed their goals and objectives; she contributes to reports for internal and external stakeholders. She gives support with all office operations, helps assist in new employee orientation, acts as a resource for strategy development, manages digital assets, and gives support in different projects. Her role calls for a mix of administrative, technological, and strategic skills to support efficiency in the organization’s various operational areas.

Biography

Lydia has a master’s degree in social work specializing in medical and psychiatry from Assam Don Bosco University in Guwahati, India. While attending classes, she accumulated hands-on practice in a variety of community settings, schools, mental health hospitals, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Participating in an international exchange program is how she collaborated with Irish students and students from different cultural backgrounds.

In the course of her master’s program, Lydia acquired well-developed critical thinking, organizational, presentation, and teamwork skills. She is good at report writing and has enhanced her ability to think creatively and innovatively solving problems. Lydia is bent on improving herself physically and in her profession as well. To achieve this, she has been in many other workshops and seminars that have gotten her to move out of her comfort zone. She is dedicated to bettering herself as well as using her abilities for some good purpose in the domain under which she works.
